CLAs are learning activites which enable students to connect their learning in a given course to a SHSM sector and are based on the curriculum expectations of the course. Students enrolled in a SHSM are required to complete a CLA if the science course is listed as an "other required credit" in their pathway. Since the CLAs meet the curriculum expectations of a given course, they can serve as a useful teacher resource.
The following CLAs have been written for science by Dufferin-Peel teachers and are available on the FYI portal. To access these resources:
